In the middle of the Austrian Winter hopping into the airplane and starting off to Chile is not one of the worst thing you could do.
When I arrived there, Markus Pekoll, the Austrian Downhill hero, was already in Chile training. I flew in and we drove around to find some great shooting spots. It was such a great week in Chile. We did not plan a lot, we let the sun lead us the way. It was not just shooting, it was an experience. Sleeping in the beds of residents and getting good food in the backyard.
It was such a surprise how the residents welcomed us and helped us in such a friendly way.
A great trip with great people and the result in the Red Bulletin was pretty awesome, a story of 8 pages.
